Pressing Through Hard Times.

There is an article that I read on the New York Times web site (www.nytimes.com) This article spoke on Obama’s speech and his attempt to regain the faith of many Americans he once had entering into his presidency. As many Americans know, the momentum from Obama’s very exciting election carried him for the first six months, but as the issues of Americas health care plans seem to fade, many Americans began to question if Obama was a strong enough political leader as he was a political candidate. This speech was presented to members of Congress, with a strong appeal to the many American people that watched on television. President Obama spoke very strongly and passionately on his attempt to change and correct the many problems with our nation’s health care. Obama’s speech also reviles that when his back is to the wall he can rise to the occasion, and he has shown this throughout much of his career. It was shown on November 2007, with his speech at the dinner of Democrats that put him on his road to victory, as well as his speech on racism after racial remarks made by his old pastor Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. This article is one that I encourage readers to give a glance at, showing us that our president is a leader that dose well under pressure, and also reassures us that when hard times arise we have a president we can depend on.
